11. Opening the Converted Project in Delphi
- Open the generated project in Delphi.
- Let Delphi load the forms and watch for form-reader errors first.
- Build the project and capture the real compiler results.
- Fix structural problems before pursuing visual polish.
- Rebuild and rerun after each significant converter improvement.
The converter now strips or remaps several common VCL-only form properties before Delphi sees the FMX output, so some earlier reader failures no longer appear. Even so, form-reader errors still deserve first priority because they block every later stage of validation.
The first successful load of the project is a major milestone, but it is not the end of validation. A project can open and still fail at compile time, or compile and still fail at runtime. Treat these as separate checkpoints.
